In electrical faults, capacitor damage is a common fault that causes the motor to malfunction. If the capacitors used are not properly selected, they will have serious consequences for the motor. When replacing the starting and running capacitors, it is best to use the same capacitor as the original configuration parameters.
If the capacitor is damaged and you do not know or can't see the labeling parameters, you can calculate the matching according to the following formula:

In the formula, the capacitance of the C-fit is in micro-method (μF); the current density of the J-motor starting winding is generally 5~7A/mm²; and the cross-sectional area of the S-starting winding wire (mm²).
